From my rough reckoning, I have already spent 8,500 hours of tapping my computer at home and feeding my family (I'm living with my wife and two kids) from my earnings.
They say it takes 10,000 hours to make one an expert. Well, I'm certainly not yet an expert. But I have those hours! A year more and, voila, there's my 10,000.
